Here is the song we listened to in order to practise the pronunciation of the 3rd conditional. Remamber that the vocabulary seen in the song will appear in tne next vocabulary exam!

OUR REPRESENTATIVE IN THE FONIX

The student in 1st D Filip Cano Córdoba was the student with the highest mark (48/50) in the local stage, so he is going to represent Sant Pere 1st BAT in the regional stage next March 24th. Congratulations and thank you for taking part in the competition, the rest of students also did really well!
 
REGIONAL STAGE:

1. The tests during the regional stage will be held on Saturday 24th March at 12:00 midday, and will last for a maximum of 55 minutes. The location of the examination in each of the 4 islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera) will be made public well before the test date – on the competition website. Candidates will be assigned to one of these centres, according to the location of their school. 
2. Candidates and a member of their family and / or the person from their school who is responsible for the competition should arrive 60 minutes before the start of the test in order to complete the administrative procedures. This is in-line with the rules set out in regulation 3 of the competition.
3. At this stage of the competition, the six candidates with the highest marks in each of the 8 levels will be chosen: (48 candidates in total).
4. If there is a draw between the best candidates at a particular level, the finalists will be chosen on the basis of the richness of the language and vocabulary used in their written tasks.
5. The organisers will publish the names of the winners from the regional stage of the competition and the centres they represent as of 12th April.
6. The person responsible for the competition from each centre must inform the competition organisers of anyone that pulls out of participating in the final stage of the competition by 20:00 on 5th May.

A REALLY INSPIRING SONG

I just love this song, have a look at its lyrics and you'll see.

This is what Katy Perry says about it:
"People are coming back and almost adopting it as their own anthem, and it's hard, I think, to write an anthem that's not cheesy, and I hope that this could be something in that category. I hope this could be one of those things where it's like, 'Yeah, I want to put my fist up and feel proud and feel strong. But I also don't want to be cheesy, it's a fine line, and I think 'Firework' ... would be like the opus or my one song — if I had to pick a song to play — 'cause it has a great beat. But it also has a fantastic message.
